
Meat Machine is excited to offer another year of basic bike repair classes. These are nuggets of knowledge every cyclist should have, from emergency fixes to preventative maintenance. No experience necessary.
Basic Maintenance Class #1 – Thursday, April 11th and Friday April 12th 5:30 – 7:30 PM
Basic Maintenance Class #2 – Thursday, May 2nd and Friday, May 3rd 5:30 – 7:30 PM
The Basic Maintenance Class is a two-part endeavor, and is taught by a League of American Bicyclists-certified instructor. There are two separate classes offered in April:
1st Night – Roadside Repair
- Flat Tire Repair
- Front and Rear Tires
- Punctures and Cuts
- Mountain or Road
- Broken Chain Repair
2nd Night– Bicycle Care
- Pre-Ride Safety Check
- Helmet Adjustment and Safety
- Preventative Maintenance
- Proper Cleaning
- Proper Lubrication
- Tire Pressure
- Post-Ride Check
